The Music of Mack Wilberg

Dr. Wilberg, Music Director of the world renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be guest conductor for the opening concert of the 25th Anniversary Season of The Michael O’Neal Singers. Dr. Wilberg has been involved in artistic leadership of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir since 1999, and was appointed Music Director of the Choir in 2008. In addition to his talent as a conductor, he is an accomplished composer and has for decades been writing and arranging music especially suited to large choirs. On October 27, he will conduct a combined mass choir made up of The Michael O’Neal Singers and the Roswell UMC Sanctuary Choir in a concert of his own compositions and arrangements. Because Wilberg is kept busy managing his responsibilities with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, his guest appearances are rare.
