Folk music has been called the music of the people, and rightly  so, for a country's folk music tells us much about its culture, values and history. The
Michael O'Neal Singers and Chamber Singers open the 2004-2005 season with a program celebrating the music of many lands. Performing music selections from
Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, South America, Latin America and North America, MOS will delight your ears with sounds from around the world. As the songs of many nations are
heard and enjoyed, we will be reminded of the universality of the hopes and desires of all peoples, even as we savor the unique and individual ways in which these hopes and desires are expressed.
