MOS at the POPS Friday, May 6, 2005 - 8:00 PM – RUMC
The Boston Pops Orchestra was formed in 1885 as a way of presenting "a lighter kind of music." Under the baton of Maestro Arthur Fiedler from 1930 to 1980, the
Boston Pops refined its tradition of mixing classical and popular programming in a tasteful, yet relaxed, setting and now the Pops concept has become one of the most enjoyable ways to hear a
variety of musical styles. The Michael O'Neal Singers will present its own version with MOS at the POPS, a program including show tunes and popular standards. This concert will provide a perfect
evening of entertainment and will bring the 2004-2005 Season to a rousing finale. Don't miss it!
