A CARNEGIE HALL PREVIEW Sunday, May 21, 2000 3:00 PM
The 130-voice "concert choir", which will perform Schubert's Mass in G at New York City's acclaimed Carnegie Hall the following week under the direction of conductor Dr. Michael O'Neal, previews this popular masterwork for our Roswell
audience.
Comprised of singers from the Roswell UMC Sanctuary Choir and The Michael O'Neal Singers, the tour choir will be joined in the Roswell performance by professional soloists, organist Tom Alderman and instrumentalists from Georgia Sinfonia. The program will also include instrumental selections featuring orchestra and organ.
This concert is partially funded by the Mary W. Long Endowment Fund established in 1995 for the purpose of
underwriting the classical concert in the Sounds of the Spirit Concert Series. No tickets are needed; an offering will be taken at the concert.
To be added to the concert series mailing list, call the Roswell United Methodist Church Music Office at (770) 594-0512 or click here to send an e-mail.
