THE MICHAEL O'NEAL SUMMER SINGERS, 2005
The Michael O'Neal Summer Singers is a non-auditioned summer chorus open to all interested singers. Previous choral experience is desired.
Participation requirements include rehearsal attendance at at least four of the five scheduled rehearsals, as well as the dress rehearsal and performance; and a participation fee of $30 per singer.
Repertoire - Choral Masterpieces, e.g.,
- The Heavens are Telling ('The Creation' by Haydn)
- How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place ('Requiem' by Brahms)
- Sanctus ('Messe Solenelle' by Gounod)
- and other classic choruses.
- Spirituals – arrangements by Moses Hogan
Rehearsal Schedule All rehearsals (except dress rehearsal) will be at Roswell UMC on selected Monday evenings at 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. The
Saturday dress rehearsal and Monday performance will be at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Buckhead.

Other concert information Ticket prices for this concert will be $10 per person.
Members will need to provide their own black folder and their concert dress—tuxes with black tie/cummerbund for men and long-sleeved black outfits for women
(can be dresses, skirts and blouses, or slacks and blouses; skirts/dresses must be tea-length or longer).
