Subject: MOS e-News: MOS at the POPS concert - May 6
The Michael O'Neal Singers invite you to our
performance in May. . .
MOS at the POPS
Friday, May
6, 8 PM in the Roswell UMC Sanctuary
The Boston Pops Orchestra was formed in 1885 as a
way of presenting "a lighter kind of music." Under the baton of Maestro
Arthur Fiedler from 1930 to 1980, the Boston Pops refined its tradition of
mixing classical and popular programming in a tasteful, yet relaxed, setting and
now the Pops concept has become one of the most enjoyable ways to hear a variety
of musical styles. The Michael O'Neal Singers will present its own version
with MOS at the
POPS, a program including show tunes and
popular standards. You'll hear numbers such as Moon River,
I'll Be Seeing You, 42nd Street, It Had to Be You,
and A Tribute to Ray Charles . Enjoy a perfect evening of
entertainment bringing the 2004-2005 Season to a rousing
finale.
Please call 770-594-7974, visit www.mosingers.com , or reply to this email
for more information or for tickets. We look forward to seeing you at our
final concert of the season!
