The Michael O'Neal Singers holds auditions each summer for
the positions in the full chorus and chamber ensemble for the following season (September
- May). Auditions are open to interested professional and amateur singers dedicated to achieving excellence in choral performance.
The 15-minute audition consists of
range and tessitura checks, sight-reading, tonal memory, and scales (major, minor, and chromatic).
Rehearsals for the full chorus are held on Mondays from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; rehearsals for the Chamber ensemble are held from 9:30 to 10 p.m. on select Mondays. All rehearsals take place at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Blvd. in Roswell 30075.
Members provide their own performance attire (black tuxedo for
men, black uniform dress for ladies) and black folder. A participation fee of $135.00 covers the cost of music and rehearsal recordings. The cost of the ladies' outfit is
approximately $130.00.

From Downtown Atlanta:
Take GA 400 North to exit 6, Northridge. Exit highway, cross over 400 and continue straight to Roswell Road. Turn right towards Roswell. Continue straight; Roswell Road changes names to Atlanta Street. Proceed to the intersection of Atlanta Street and GA 120/Marietta Highway. Turn left onto GA 120 and then turn IMMEDIATELY right onto Mimosa Blvd. Travel down Mimosa Blvd, passing first the Baptist Church on the left, then the Presbyterian Church on the right, until you come to the entrance to Roswell United Methodist Church on the left. Turn left into the church grounds, proceed straight down into the large parking lot. Park at the back of the parking lot, farthest away from Mimosa Blvd. The Music Office entrance is in the back of the "A" building, farthest away from Mimosa Blvd. There will be a group of 10 or so handicapped parking spaces; in front of them will be a ramp up to a set of gray double doors. These lead to the choir room/music office where the auditions are held.
