members from The Michael O'Neal Singers will join with members of the Roswell UMC Sanctuary Choir for a performance of Schubert's Mass in G at New York's acclaimed Carnegie Hall on Sunday, May 29 at 8:00 p.m. This performance will mark Michael's
conducting debut at Carnegie Hall, and will be the high point of a five-day trip for the approximately 200 singers and companions who are planning to spend Memorial Day Weekend rehearsing and performing in one
of the world's most famous performance sites, as well as shopping, dining, and going to theater in New York. If you needed a good reason to plan a trip to New York, this is it! Come see us in Carnegie Hall!
Summer 2000 will see singers from MOS head across the big water for a fourteen-day trip to Ireland, England, and Wales (July 9 –22). Tour highlights will include concerts in Galway Cathedral, Carlow Cathedral, and the National Concert Hall (Dublin) with sight-seeing in Killarney,
Kilkenny, and London, as well as Galway, Carlow, and Dublin. A medieval banquet in Ruthin Castle in Wales and a dinner cruise on the Thames River in London are among the planned activities.
