2002 British-American Church Music Festival Selects Michael O'Neal As Guest Conductor
Dr. Michael O'Neal and David
Flood, Master of the Choristers at Canterbury Cathedral, will be co-conductors of the British-American Church Music Festival to be held June 11-22, 2002 in Great Britain.
Singers from The Michael O'Neal Singers and the Roswell UMC Sanctuary Choir will join singers from throughout the United States for performances at St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland;
the historic Canterbury Cathedral in southeast England; and Westminster Central Hall in London. The repertoire will consist primarily of music written for the great cathedrals of England, by composers such as
Ralph Vaughan Williams, G.F. Handel, and C.H.H. Parry.
