MOS Hires Development Director and Expands Board of Directors
The Michael O'Neal Singers Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Ellen H. Sacchi to fill the newly created position of Development
Director. Ellen brings to MOS an extensive professional background in fundraising/ development, including over three years as the Director of Development for the Foundation of Wesley Woods/
Wesley Woods Center of Emory University in Atlanta. Under her direction, the Wesley Woods Foundation completed a successful $12.7 million capital and endowment campaign,
created a planned giving program, and created a gift annuity program. She has also served as a fundraising consultant for both non-profit and governmental agencies throughout the
Southeast. In her role with MOS, Ellen will spearhead fundraising activities and develop plans to secure major gifts in support of the organization's financial and artistic growth.
In addition, MOS welcomes two new members to the Board of Directors. Chuck Lane, a member of MOS since 1999, is beginning his two year term as Chorus President. He is the
CIO and VP of Technology from ADP TotalSource, a division of Automatic Data Processing, where he has been employed in various operational, development and executive positions since 1974.
Edie Bostic, is an active volunteer in the areas of education and the arts. An Atlanta resident for 16 years, she currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Spartanburg
Methodist College, Director for the Atlanta Area Northwestern University Alumni Admission Council, advisory committee member for the ASO Talent Development Program
, and Alto II Section Leader for the RUMC Sanctuary Choir.
