Meet Walt Bryde, MOS Chairman of the Board
Walton C. Bryde (Walt) is more than an advisor and friend to The Michael O'Neal Singers… he is a Michael O'Neal Singer himself. In addition to his more
than ten years of service to MOS as a member and chair of the Board of Directors, Walt is a respected businessman and community leader, actively involved with his church and family.
Walt received a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. He earned his Certified Public Accountant
Certificate in Georgia, and has owned his own practice since 1980. Walt is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He also owns
Doraville Drive-lines & Springs, Inc., which provides major repair services for automobiles and trucks.
In addition to his MOS participation, Walt serves as an elder at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, where he is the Chair of the Mission Ministry, and is the
treasurer and board member of Leadership DeKalb. Other board responsibilities include: Chairman of the Board of Six Star Refugee Partnership, Inc., a
partnership of six churches serving the needs of refugee families, and Board Member of Lycra, Inc., a professional string chamber ensemble, which
performs in the metro Atlanta area and provides educational outreach to middle and high school students.
Walt and his wife Louise have four children and seven grandchildren. They also serve as guardian to a young woman from South Africa who is now a
junior at Princeton University. In addition to his musical pastimes, other personal interests include golf and keeping up with the grandchildren.
