Michael O'Neal Chamber Singers Bring A Professional Touch To
Metro Arts Community

With a repertoire spanning centuries and styles, The Michael O'Neal Chamber Singers has established a reputation for choral excellence and polished presentation. As the professional core of MOS, the Chamber Singers expand the outreach of the organization through appearances on college and community concert series throughout the state and for corporate and civic events in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Each of the 14 singers in the ensemble is an accomplished soloist, with more than half the membership holding degrees in music. In November, MOCS was invited to perform for the gala kick-off for the North Fulton Centre for the Arts, a world class performing arts center now in development under the auspices of Fulton County, the City of Roswell, and the City of Alpharetta.

The MOCS performances in February (Feb. 15 in Roswell / Feb. 20 at Oglethorpe University) are part of the annual MOS subscription series, and will feature sacred and secular literature, ranging from Renaissance and classical masterpieces to popular standards, with both ensemble and solo performances.   Concert bookings for The Michael O'Neal Chamber Singers are handled through The Alkahest Agency (800/208-0202). Recorded performances by MOCS are frequently played on Atlanta's classical music radio station WABE-90.1 FM, Georgia Public Radio, and have been featured on the nationally syndicated First Art radio broadcast.
