Choral Classics: Music to Inspire is an online choral experience consisting of six recorded YouTube rehearsal sessions premiering at 8 p.m. EST on Monday evenings, January 25 – March 1, 2021. The selections will be chosen from well-known choral masterworks and will provide participants the opportunity to rehearse the music and then sing with pre-recorded performances by The Michael O’Neal Singers. There is no charge for participation, although donations will be gratefully accepted to help cover expenses. All registered singers will receive links to marked scores, audio part-learning aids, and rehearsal suggestions. Selections by Bach, Beethoven, Duruflé, Handel, Mozart, Orff, Rachmaninov, and Vivaldi will be a reminder that even in the most challenging times, music has the ability to inspire. This program also includes the option to participate in a Virtual Audio Choir.
