UNITY THROUGH SONG
The COVID-19 situation means we must be apart this autumn, but we can’t keep from singing together! Join us online for a series of six video choral experiences, entitled Unity Through Song. This program, which offers a theme of understanding, respect, justice, peace, and unity, takes place Monday nights, September 14 – October 19, and includes the option to participate in an Audio Virtual Choir.
The repertoire includes:
Lord, Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace – John Rutter
The Promise of Living from ‘The Tender Land’ – Aaron Copland
Imagine – John Lennon
Do You Hear the People Sing? from ‘Les Misérables’ – Claude-Michel Schönberg
O Light of Life – Mack Wilberg
Va, Pensiero from ‘Nabucco’ – Giuseppe Verdi
Alleluia – Randall Thompson
Make Our Garden Grow from ‘Candide’ – Leonard Bernstein
OPTIONAL VIRTUAL AUDIO CHOIR – I Dream a World from ‘Perspectives’ – Dwight Bigler
The $20 charge to cover production costs will be billed at a later time.
