In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the death of Maestro Robert Shaw, MOS performs a concert honoring his memory and recognizing his lasting influence on the choral music of today. Sing Requiems, Sing Alleluias! (a quote by Shaw’s associate Alice Parker) includes music that has all been written since Shaw’s death, yet can still be associated with him because of the profound impact his life and work has had on the American choral music of the last quarter-century.
